- Answer Phones, greet and assist visitors
- Enter sick and annual leave from prior month used for all county general, solid waste and highway employees before the first payroll of the month if permissable
- Enter annual leave earned, compensation time earned before the last payroll of the month
- Reconcile insurance statements monthly for all companies and issue vendor invoicing to accounts payable for warrants
- Prepare monthly leave reports for Department Heads
- Work up new employees records by inputting into the system, sending out correspondence, maintaining files
- Prepare termination paperwork to terminate employees from benefits and records in the system
- Compile hours worked from payroll for all Monroe County employees to be used on OSHA yearly reports
- Prepare new employee benefit packets
- Enter payroll deductions for all insurance and cafeteria plans
- Stuff payroll checks by department
